Resolution Of The TV

So what resolution should you go for? Generally, the resolutions come in FHD(1080P), QHD(4k), UHD (8K). Most of the TVs come with the QHD and FHD resolution. Previously there used to be HD resolution as well with 720p, but now they are hardly available more. Going for 8K TV is of no use as of now as the content available does not support 4K. Well, the resolution you are going for depends on the content you will be viewing. If you will be viewing FHD content, then there’s no point in buying a QHD display. Streaming services like Amazon Prime and Netflix will give you a better experience with crisp and clear colors as they support HDR displays. These services support HDR 10, and only displays with HDR can opt to go with viewing such content. Content available in blu-ray is most probably not supported by many screens. Why is this so? Blu-ray content is known to be a high-quality content with resolution above 4K, and most of the displays do not support such a high resolution. Buying a TV with the display having the HDR support, you can easily view blu-ray content on them. 

Refresh Rate

Refresh rates do play a significant role in enhancing your experience. Most of the TVs are now smart TV, and if you are buying one with a low refresh rate, then the TV might feel like lagging. Previously there used to be AV ports on TV to allow users to connect their CD players and DVD players. But now AV ports have been replaced by HDMI port, which gives better quality. Also, make sure that when buying an OLED TV, it has an Ethernet port and USB ports. Well, Ethernet port is not a necessity nowadays as most of the TVs support Wi-Fi connectivity, so if your TV does not have an Ethernet port, then that will not be a big issue. Some TVs are equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone jack to provide you a better sound experience by connecting multiple speakers. Having all the essential ports makes it easy for you to connect to your set-top box or broadband. You can even connect some accessories with TV if your TV has the correct port for it.
