Apart from that, the laptops come with a 14-inch display with Full HD resolution. In terms of looks, the laptop resembles Macbooks with a similar metallic finish, and there’s no Mi branding on the back of the display panel. It comes with 8GB DDR4 RAM.

Talking about the storage, it has a 512 GB SSD, which is a good point at such a price point. Xiaomi claims the laptop to be having a battery life of up to 10 hours. Well, the laptop is not only designed for coding and multitasking, but you can perform light gaming on it as well. 

It is powered by an NVIDIA GEFORCE MX350 GPU having a graphic memory of 2 GB. Although the Mi notebook resembles the design of Macbook, it does have all the required ports that we miss in MacBooks.

The laptop has a USB Type-C port, 3 USB type-A port, 1 HDMI port, 1- 3.5 mm jack, and 1 charging port, well we do not get to see an SD card slot here.

The keyboard and touchpad are also the most important factor of a PC, as you will be working on it for hours. So a keyboard designed to provide comfort while you type is required.

Well, the keyboard of this laptop follows the scissor mechanism. Xiaomi, with this laptop, has tried experimenting with the camera as they removed it and provided it separately. You will not have to purchase it, as it will be available in the box.

Having a separate camera has its pros and cons. This will be an extra layer of protection to your privacy, as the site will not be able to access your camera. But as the camera is separate, you cannot carry it everywhere.
